Walkkaro community walkers in Kochi

Strolling Through
History

As the birthplace of walkkaro, Kochi has set the tone for a walking revolution by becoming the largest walking community in India via active memberships. Ably supported by a strong and active base of 2,500+ members who never miss a walk. Every step explores the city’s stunning landmarks, streets and walkways the city has on offer.

Recognised as a leading walking community in Kochi, the community regularly hosts themed walking initiatives including morning walks, micro-group walks, weekly community walks and walk challenges, encouraging consistent participation across age groups. walkkaro Kochi has also led and supported impactful initiatives such as Climathon - walk for the planet, multiple walkathons and walkway audits in collaboration with Walkable Kochi, reinforcing its commitment not just to walking, but to safer and more equitable public spaces.
